Giving of monetary tithes and offerings at Total Gospel has always been about obedience to God. It is the natural thankful response of giving back to God a portion of what God provides for us. A time for giving has been placed at the end of Hillside’s weekly worship service so you may share in this important aspect of worship.

In Malachi 3:10, God says,

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”

According to the Old Testament, a tithe is ten percent given back to God before any other obligations are considered. An offering is an additional amount above the tithe, usually given as evidence of further gratitude for blessings received. As a New Testament Church, we are called to give sacrificially, joyously, and generously.

In addition to financial gifts, certainly God also wants us to give our time, spiritual gifts, talents and energy, as an offering to Him.
